Coughing Genius Media is a visual support company, we specialize in providing photography services and journalism. From business events to social events including but not limited to philanthropy, fashion, art, real estate, nightclubs, and lifestyle. We believe the right combination of imagination and creativity can lead towards a successful future, in business and in life. And we contribute to that idea by providing visual support services to as many people, businesses and companies as we can. And if you have a non profit organization, we may also be available to volunteer as press.
As we continue to grow, and continue to create and capture amazing moments. We hope to build a strong team and a respectable community of a lot of awesome people. And since you're here, might as well be a little more awesome and join our community .
FOUNDER & CREATOR
My name is Ricardo Laventure, founder of Coughinggenius Media. I am an experienced content creator and marketer with a proven track record in the Arts and Entertainment industry. My passion for visual arts began at the age of 12, but photography felt instinctive from the very start. At 17, I purchased my first professional camera, and from that moment, I became deeply committed to capturing moments—whether it was a casual afternoon at the park with friends or a high-profile corporate event.
As my career progressed and opportunities grew, I came to understand that photography is more than an art form—it is an essential part of the human experience. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to developing a diverse portfolio and building a professional reputation in Miami under the name *COUGH~, a name I first imagined as a teenager in the park. What began as a youthful idea has since evolved into a brand that has opened countless doors, for which I am truly grateful.
My creative style, particularly in nightlife photography, focuses on channeling raw emotion. Often described as abstract, my work is guided more by intuition than by strict rules, allowing my creativity to flow freely—a strength that sometimes challenges convention. I believe that art thrives without limitations, and I encourage creating as much as possible. Memories are timeless, and photography is our most powerful tool to preserve them.
